What is Krampus?
Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure that accompanies Saint Nicholas during the Christmas season, warning and punishing bad children.
He will be coming to Gallery O on H on Saturday, December 5 for a night benefiting Santa’s Cause, a local nonprofit that serves the foster children of Family Matters of Greater Washington
Santa’s Cause DC contributes to the approximate 75 foster children of Family Matters of Greater Washington. Their website is and they can be found on Facebook. The children in the program are between the ages of 0-21 years. All donations are 100% tax deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines. 100% of your donation goes to helping the foster children. All fees for the website, mailings, coordination, and general administration costs are taken on by Mr. and Mrs. Claus as our donations to the program or covered by Family Matters of Greater Washington.
Santa's Cause DC is administered by Piers Lamb and his wife Jules Kendrick. Piers serves as the only Santa affiliated with the program and he and Jules work directly with donors and the program liaisons at Family Matters of Greater Washington to ensure all of the children have gifts on their birthdays, holidays, and school supplies for the year. Piers and Jules both have extensive backgrounds in volunteerism and non-profit work in the Greater Washington Area and are proud to be the hands of Santa at work in their community with your generous contributions.
